Pastor Danny & wife Megan

My name is Danny Evans and I am the Youth Pastor here at First Baptist Church of Palm Bay.  I grew up in Lakeland, FL. My wife, Megan, is from a small country town in Pennsylvania.  We met as Lancaster Bible College where we both attended and from where we both graduated.  We got married in December of 2002.  My desire and passion has always been in the youth group at the church we attended.  We also spent our summers as counselors at Camp Gilead and we did an internship with a youth group at a Baptist church in Lakeland.  It has been awesome seeing God’s hand and direction in our lives and how everything has led up to where we are now.  A verse that has kept me strong is James 1:18- “But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds. Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do”.—Keep our youth in your prayers.  It’s a sin-filled world we live in right now.  Pray for them as they try to reach the community for Christ and pray for us as we lead them and direct them.  Thank you so much for your prayers and support thus far.  We look forward to getting to know each and everyone of you.  Please feel free to contact me at church with questions, concerns, and suggestions you may have.
